Shadows of Empire: Deadlands

Deadlands is the first setting book for Shadows of Empire.

The Deadlands are a region blasted by magic and plagued by the restless dead. Long ago a great sorcery went horribly wrong and stained the land of the Argentine with foul necromantic energies, which can sometimes cause the freshly dead to rise again as zombies. Recently, rich veins of silver have been found in the mountains, and now a rush of fortune hunters flock to Fort Durance looking to make their fortune. Assuming they don't get eaten by zombies first...

In this supplement you will find:

• a history and geography of the Deadlands  
• a full hexcrawl setting with maps, locations, and keyed hexes
• a central settlement, Fort Durance, complete with NPCs, factions, and all manner of drama
• rules for Gutterkin campaigns and an expanded Gutterkin bestiary 
• a four page Zombie bestiary with expanded rules
• Durance Vile, a full dungeon adventure set in the Deadlands for character levels 4 - 6

Deadlands and its hexcrawl will snap together with the forthcoming hexcrawl material that will be found in the revised core Shaodows of Empire book, which will be available soon, and free to anyone who already owns the rules when it's released. 

The revised PDFs now have an updated and hand-drawn Deadlands hex map, which is also inbcluded in the download files as seperate A4 map as well.
